- I'm still rushing around trying to figure out red tape and stuff for my enrolment and visa. Mostly, I need to enrol first, then get my visa, oh, and sort out accomodation. I've decided to go for a student hostel type housing - documentation-wise it will be a hassle but I really don't want to go househunting when I'm there. I just want to arrive, put my things in a place and get ready for research and stuff.

- After months of ignoring the visual arts, I decided to go back to digital art. Doing something abstract right now - the work in progress is in scraps. I started it on Saturday morning because working on abstract art seemed to be the best panacea for what was ailing me at that point in time. Still ailing me, but I have Jeff Buckley to listen to. I bought a box set and a double CD yesterday, to go with the much listened Live at L'Olympia. His music touches the hurt places and heals it. But music has always done that for me.

- Oh, I also went on a comfort shopping spree. Apart from the CDs, I bought myself a devart subscription, two tshirts and a brand new blouse.

- It's a strange time for me, I'm somewhere between excitement, fear, happiness and sadness. Knowing that life is going to change, not sure I'm ready to deal with the changes, but impatient for it anyway.

- Still sneaking into Achaea. It would be nice to get my forestal girl up to L75 before I have to go dormant for leaving-the-country-and-serious-as-a-heart-attack-Phd stuff. I retired the other(s) for now.

- Oh, don't be fooled. Apart from the serious-as-a-heart-attack studently stuff, I'm fully determined to live it up. Immerse myself in as many cultural and musical things as I can. Find a new music teacher. Or two. Also, WOMAD Adelaide FTW! Speaking of which, 2 weeks more to WOMAD Singapore. Besides myself with excitement.
